George Stavropoulos (DJ G-Stav) discovered his obsession with music at an early age, inspired by two distinct soundtracks within his childhood home. Between borrowing his older sister’s collection of ’90’s house cassette tapes, and the Greek music that filled the air during frequent gatherings hosted by his immigrant parents, G-Stav’s eclectic taste in music was destined from the start. He dabbled with playing the drums in his youth, but found his groove behind a turntable by age sixteen—and the rest is history. From there, he joined a local DJ company and spent nearly every weekend shadowing experienced DJs and performing at private events throughout the Bay Area, honing his skills and mastering the craft.

In 2005, G-Stav finally broke into the San Francisco club scene where he spent a decade performing at top venues including Ruby Skye, Love & Propaganda, Audio, and the legendary 1015. His talent even took him into the spotlight, where he opened for world-renowned DJs and producers such as Kaskade, Bob Sinclair, Duke Dumont, Dirty South, and Steve Aoki.

To bring his music to a wider audience, G-Stav co-founded the event production companies Select SF which became All Day All Night Events, connecting global artists with fans in unique and unconventional venues. Today, the company produces events across the United States and features some of the biggest names in dance music.

While his two-decade long career has taken him to every major city across the U.S. and Canada—and as far as Panama, Honduras, and his native Greece—he can currently be found behind the decks at clubs and private events throughout the Bay Area.
